Bio

Irene Gil-Ramon is a Catalan filmmaker and artist currently based in Los Ángeles. She has directed projects across fiction and non-fiction, including web documentaries and installations.

Her work has been screened at venues including Museo de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), Saatchi Gallery (London), and REDCAT (Los Angeles). In 2018, she relocated from Barcelona to Los Ángeles to attend CalArts after being awarded one of the 'La Caixa' Fellowships

She holds an MA in Creative Documentary from UPF-BSM and an MFA in Film Directing from CalArts, where she has served as faculty and later as editing and production consultant for the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance.
